Over the last TEN YEARS the Buffalo Jump has worked to turn the focus back to the community. As the on-site restaurant and caterer at Coonamessett Farm in Hatchville, the opportunity to work with hyper-seasonal and local produce is abundant. Our care and attentiveness to ingredients and methods create a strong foundation in building flavor and complexity within familiar dishes.
While our language is food; we find our truth in the extension of an idea and native hunting practice called the Buffalo Jump. Working as a community and with other community-minded groups our food becomes a way for us to care for, lift and nourish one another in a creative space and medium. Through this vehicle and with the singular idea of supporting and growing together, we allow our food to speak for itself.
